Pacing a week on the road

Two or three bases
For a week, two or three bases are usually enough. Each move costs fuel, packing time, and a new arrival in a vehicle you do not drive every day.
If the listing has a minimum stay, your bases have to respect that. You cannot split one booking across different vans.
Keep one empty half-day
Weather, a slower handover, or a supermarket run will use it. A timetable with no spare time is the one most likely to slip.
